The movie, directed by debutante Abi Varghese, was initially titled as 'Bourborn Street', later changed into Njan DP Pallickal and then finalised as Monsoon Mangoes. Fahadh Faasil will be playing the character DP Pallickal in the movie.
Monsoon Mangoes revolves around a young filmmaker's life. Debutante Iswarya Menon essays the female lead. Actors Vijay Raaz, Vinay Forrt, Tovino Thomas, Thampy Anthony, Nandhu, Josukutty and Sajini Zachariah are the other notable faces in the cast.
